Operations Coordinator Salary: $54,000 – $60,000/year Location: Hybrid with considerable travel required Benefits: Company vehicle, 401(k) with 3% match, health insurance with HSA, vision, dental, phone stipend, vacation & sick leave
Maryland Farm Bureau is seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Coordinator to drive member engagement, support agricultural advocacy, and strengthen our presence at the county and state levels. This role will plan and execute membership programs, increase participation, and serve as an ambassador to Maryland’s agricultural community.
Key Responsibilities:
Grow and engage membership through resources, training, and incentives
Support legislative communication and policy advocacy efforts
Plan and execute conferences, forums, and member activities
Manage educational resources, training programs, and volunteer orientations
Strengthen relationships between state and county boards
Utilize CRM tools to manage data and analyze membership trends
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, communications, or related field OR 3+ years’ experience in member relations, event management, or agricultural advocacy
Knowledge of Maryland agriculture policy preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and CRM skills
Event planning and fundraising experience a plus
