2023 Awards of Excellence
Each year, county Farm Bureau’s submit applications to the Maryland Farm Bureau to receive various Awards of Excellence. Awards are given in six categories: Government Relations, Leadership, Membership, Outstanding County Program, Outreach, and Fiduciary Responsibility.
2023 SIlver bowl award winners
Each year, the judge’s scores are used to rank the top counties in each program area and the ranking are used to determine the county with the best overall programs for 2022-2023. We recognize two counties – a winner in the smaller division county Farm Bureaus (those under 600 members) and a winner in the larger division (those with 600 members or more).
The winning counties are presented with a replica Silver Bowl, but the original is engraved each year with the winning county names and is displayed with pride at the Maryland Farm Bureau office here in Davidsonville.
This year’s Silver Bowl winners are Baltimore County and Frederick County.
